HOW DO I ENTER?
Is your child’s imagination constantly running away with them? Are they always drawing on any scrap of paper they can find? This summer, the BIC® KIDS Young Artist Award is giving proud parents across the UK and Republic of Ireland the opportunity to see their child’s drawings graduate from the fridge door to billboards!
Simply take a photo of an A4 masterpiece that your little artist has drawn in felt-tip, crayon or pencil and upload it by Sunday, August 4, 2019 to be in with a chance of winning!
To be eligible, entries must:
Be from children aged 5-11 years old
Be drawn on plain, landscape A4 paper
Be drawn in pencil, felt tip and/or crayon
Be received by 11.59pm on Sunday, August 4, 2019
Be submitted to the BIC® KIDS website by the child’s parent or legal guardian
Be the original work of the entrant, and not include any recognised characters or logos
Be the only entry of that child
If you need any new colouring products to help with your child’s entry, why not visit (BIC® products are also available from other retailers).

Once all the finalists’ artworks are on display, a public vote will open here on the campaign website. The entrant who receives the most votes will be announced as the overall champion and their artwork will be displayed for another campaign between Monday, September 23 – Sunday, October 6, 2019.
In addition to priceless public recognition of their work, the winner will receive BIC® stationery goodies and a creative art party.
HOW IS IT JUDGED?
Entrants are encouraged to draw with as much freedom and creativity as possible. In order to pick the eventual winners, the judging panel will award marks for:
Creativity and use of colour – Why can’t the sky be orange? Is the artist seeing in technicolour?
Good composition and artistic ability – How is space used and technical ability demonstrated?
Interesting subject matter – Is there a story? Does it show emotion?
GOOD LUCK!
